Not necessarily life saving but generally yeah that or a serious condition with the developing child.

Another thing most Christofascists also don't deem "necessity" is a threat to the health(but not life) or future fertility of the mother.

It's the government subsidized funding of entirely elective abortions I find objectionable. Those are rarely in hospitals.

I have a personal moral objection to abortion. I don't want my tax dollars helping fund it. But I also object to intrusive govt.

A good government provides the option to terminate a pregnancy and a safety net so women don't feel they must terminate coz can't provide.
