Many on the left implicitly (and explicitly) define freedom to mean must be financially subsidized or mandated by the government.

Speaking *very* generally, an abortion performed in a hospital is likely to be medically necessary.
-
So your objection is to paying for abortions that are not medically necessary rather than where they take place?
-
That's fair. Although in the US as a practical matter that generally means in a hospital. But I don't want to even say medically necessary..
-
Not here. I could die if I get pregnant again but not till 3rd trimester. I'd be referred to a clinic.
-
It's very much the same in the US. Early term abortions almost all take place in clinics. By all methods.

Me neither. Seems to be vaguely implying life-saving necessity. But I'm not sure.
-
Not necessarily life saving but generally yeah that or a serious condition with the developing child.
-
Another thing most Christofascists also don't deem "necessity" is a threat to the health(but not life) or future fertility of the mother.
-
I disagree with them. Here's the bottom line: I want the abortion decision itself to not involve the government.
-
It doesn't really. You just go to the doctor & say you're pregnant but don't want to be & they make you an appointment.
