Yesterday at Nottingham Castle, we stopped to look at military uniforms over the last 500 years. I was mostly interested in how they grew.

The uniform worn by a captain in the Battle of Waterloo was on a dummy of about 5 ft 2. Shouldn't be surprising really.

Yep. Very recent. Tho well-nourished rich people were taller. Edward Longshanks considered a giant at 6 ft 2 in 13th century.
