Is saying an Italian should be judged according to Italian law culturally relativist?
I have addressed this. Being consistent in one's own ethics doesn't require invading other countries & forcing them to adopt them.

Its an internal thing. We either think all women deserve genital integrity or just white western women.

OK, so in that case we would argue that there's a human rights violation. But, what about when no human rights are violated?

Then we might not consider it something that needs ethical consideration.

Or we might say 'I think America gives too lengthy prison sentences' & be happy with that. Still have our own position & hold consistently.

'I think life should mean life everywhere' Or 'I think life should mean life for Americans but not Brits.' Consistent or relative position

If you held one of these really strongly, you could join campaigns around it but most people will just observe it & not have one.
