Yes, sure. But maybe I've been an atheist so long I can't see why, if you have a functioning human system of thriving, you need God.

I don't think so either. I think God is the easy option which doesn't require working through the existential dread to find joy & purpose.

I don't see need for existential dread! I'm a creature who's designed to enjoy life if he has food, friendship, interesting things to think.

Excellent! Many of us go through it tho. Coming to terms with the fact that we cease to exist. If doing so as a child, its easier.

My daughter cried every night for 6 weeks on finding out we die when she was 4. Lots questions about why. But she accepted it &was soon fine

It took me longer as an adult having believed I was an immortal soul and would see my loved ones again & that they weren't really gone.
