Why is security in a school more important than security on the street?

Because there are children and people are taking children away. We need to be able to see who those people are.

Is women in full-face veils taking children away when they're not supposed to something that actually happens?

Not to my knowledge but teachers being required to identify people who pick up kids and on school premises is.

Lawsuit seems to have arisen from teacher making an arbitrary decision, not backed by a clear policy, and being too embarrassed to admit it.

I would leave it up to individual schools, but the presumption must always be to let people do what they want w/out concrete reason to not

Yes, there needs to be some justification for being able to identify people & for social reasons for requiring faces to be seen.

Not necessarily, no. In a state of emergency maybe but I don't think we're there.

How do you think the judge will rule on this? Judge will have to rule discrimination because the country is not in a state of emergency.

No, its perfectly accepted to not have face veils in schools, banks, courts, even shopping centres.

So the European Court of Justice has already a banned full face veils in public places earlier this year. It had to agree with France
