But my intention is not to repeat ideologically-motivated irrationalism. What would be the point? I'm expressing my own thoughts on matters.

And I'm not primarily addressing people committed to ideologically-motivated irrationalism but the rest of us trying to find a way thru them
-
Because I find so often that people (including me) see the symptoms of problems very clearly but are less clear on the reasoning beneath.
-
And when a position is so bound up in layers of rhetoric, misdirection, obfuscation & accusation, it can be hard to pin-point the problem.
-
Which leads to criticising people on things they don't think & having a problem with the wrong thing for the wrong reason by mistake.
-
So I just like to break stuff down & try to pinpoint the problem & exactly why its a problem even if this seems naive & obvious.
-
Coz I don't think it is.I think we mostly intuitively object to things on large general principles of fairness & kindness which seem obvious
-
But other people are holding opposite positions on large general principles of fairness & kindness & it seems obvious to them too.
-
So we need to actually break it down & try to look at it in component parts & be very clear on what we're objecting to and why.
