This is not feasible. We cannot adjudicate who is *really* trans & it isn't what we should be focusing on. https://twitter.com/LotakX/status/888397359234912257 …
What about them? If they're non-binary, why would they have painful surgery & hormone treatments to become the other binary biologically?
-
-
But that's not "transgender". That's just a man in a dress.
-
You need to have surgery & hormones to be transgender? Were there no transgender people before these were available?
-
People don't mean 'Someone who transitions' by transgender. They mean someone who feels a different sex to their biological body.

I wouldn't. I'd say they thought they were trans (if they did) but found that they weren't.

I never understood this argument. What's so hard about calling them their pronouns? Why can't you just respect them? It's not hard!
-
Gender ideologues usually, religious or political significance to them.
-
My thinking is, I'll call you whatever you like, so long as you're respectful. I don't have to believe in your identity to use your pronouns
-
Yes, me too. This is liberal. But not everyone is.They think this says blasphemous stuff about God making mistakes or appropriates womanhood
-
I do not know many people who think its to do with blasphemy. Rather they think its delusion.
-
Yes but they think so coz they don't think God makes mistakes like that. Only alternative is that people are deluded.
-
Fine, but there are many people on the "alt-right" or "skeptic community" who are neither religious, nor accept these gender pronouns.
-
Yes, they are either political gender ideologues or responding to authoritarian behaviour which I have just been tweeting about.
