I certainly don't want to diminish the experiences of women but I do think we focus a bit too exclusively on them as victims.

I do agree with that - men do get more death threats - but, as a woman who's had a stalker, I do realize how seriously it should be taken.

Yes, absolutely. Not suggesting taking threats against women less seriously, just taking threats against men more so.

And also when it's only mean words & not threats, urging people not to suggest women are the ones incapable of dealing with them.
