People who describe themselves as sceptics seldom are sceptics when it comes to their own beliefs.

But they still shouldn't admire religious irrationalists just because they support free speech & oppose authoritarianism.

Of course. We can ally with anyone with liberal aims even if their beliefs are irrational and not based on evidence.

Why would it worry you? Any religious ideas he has are not really a part of what he is popular for.
