Hehe. I have used Lacanian psych in my academic work not because it makes sense but because it so precisely mirrors medieval Christianity.

Yes. In some ways it is better than critical race theory, intersectionality, postcolonialism etc coz it is abt individuality & universality.

This is why I went with it after attempts to use evo psych failed. It can often be right but for the wrong reasons on gender issues.

In the same way late medieval/early modern Christian understandings of gender can. I'd love to compare commonalities of both with evo psych.
