Its not scary. It's unethical. We need to apply liberal principles consistently or we have no liberal principles.

No. That idea of a reversal goes along with the postmodern idea of reversing hierarchies & does not level the playing field.

Universal liberalism is about levelling. Eg when women began to be able to access professional qualifications as well as men.

This meant men had more competition & some of them wouldn't make the cut & would be unemployed. But they still had equal access.

At times this produces an adverse effect, lowering the standard. As we saw with the 'no child left behind' policy.

Why would adding women to the mix and allowing employers to select the best qualified lower the standard? More brains to choose from.

Some jobs require more strength then brains. That's not my point I'm not bringing feminist ideology into question just providing an example
