If they did, that's a problem. No evidence given of it. It doesn't justify the claims made about medieval studies that I addressed.
Isn't the lack of diversity evidence in itself? And re the claims I think you've still missed the point... (1)
Medieval history is not the same as European medieval history. It's the former that should be encouraged more, no? (2)
Critical theory has its place while respecting history's complexities. The article makes some very imp points that need to be raised (end)

I have been arguing for this for some time & am concerned that academia has been taken over by theory.
