There is much evidence for these psychological traits relating to liberalism & conservatism but psychological needs are not ethics.

This should be an approach rather than a conclusion. Valuing knowledge over subjective interpretations means saying 'we don't know' a lot.

Valuing ambiguity and order are each sometimes useful. But order can lead to dogmatism and ambiguity can lead to relativism.
