There's no problem with children liking to pretend to be superheroes etc or with filmmakers providing a broad selection to inspire this.

When I was little, the only fairy tale I’d hear was Snow White “because”, I explained when asked, “she’s the only 1 w black hair” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, et al. were all blondes or red heads. I noticed from toddlerhood & it *really* bothered me)

Maybe I was an oddball child but this never affected me. I liked He-Man and She-Ra, Xena and Hercules equally.
