OK, more extreme social conservatives making false comparisons between men & women's 'natural roles.' Lets sort this out.

So you believe in gender roles??

They exist, yes. I don't think anyone need comply with them. Gender differences exist on average too & we can make our own roles in life.

But in that thread, I was saying that logically if social conservatives accept that men's roles have changed over time, women's can too.

Men's roles haven't changed. It's the same: get resources and protection for the family. The WAY in which men comply their role changed.

Women's roles haven't changed : look after the wellbeing of the community, educate children. The WAY has changed. Doctors, teachers etc

My point should have been clear. Men & women have different aptitudes & interests on average. Many career opportunities for both.

Yeah. I agree with that. Problem comes when ppl encourages them to be single mthrs or pursue an empty 'career life' just bc 'you go gurl!'.

Does this happen? "You should be a single parent & have a meaningless career." I think people mostly do what they want.

Women not so feeble as to be brainwashed into having careers & children or out of them no matter what feminists & social conservatives say

Ppl shouldnt do 'what they want' it just causes irresponsibility. Women think having lots of sex and partying all day doesnot matter. Cont.

Bc 'you need no man gurl'. If they get pregnant just abort or end up being single mothers. Society makes them think life w/out man its easy

I don't live in this world. I live in the one where men are way more interested in casual sex.

Yeah. Men don't face big trouble for this behavior (behavior I don't like). Men are naturally more polygamous. Women are like this too imo
