It does produce a lot of nonsense abt mansplaining & cultural appropriation & wage gaps etc. This is what ppl associate with feminism.

It's why only 7% of Brits are feminists even tho 80% support gender equality. It's just one approach to gender equality & its not popular.

Even more reason to draw a line somewhere. And not let it hijacked. Feminism is meant to have a positive meaning and simply for balancing.

Good luck with that. At some point, you end up sounding like those people who say '"Gay" means "happy"' & excluding themselves from convo.

When people criticise feminism, they are not criticising gender equality. If you insist on conflating the two, you just can't discuss.

That's the thing. They aren't criticising feminisim. They criticise something else that they insist on calling feminism. It's counterproductive

It's not the critics that insist on calling it feminism.

Consider this my criticism for jumping on the bandwagon. It shouldn't be called the same, if it's something else. It's counterproductive.

We might have different aims. You seem to want to defend the reputation of feminism. I want to show the problems with current manifestation.

It would be counterproductive for you to call the current lunacy 'feminism' but essential for me to address the current lunacy.

Then you mustn't call it feminism,if it isn't.Debunk the name first,so feminists can keep an ideology without forcing them to relate to that

I'm not interested in helping feminists keep an ideology. I'm interested in addressing what feminism has become,
