I trust that she has suitably punished
Exile to the south France for the *entire* summer? Where she'd *have* to speak French?

I thought saying 'Do try to be more receptive to French, there's a good girl. Here's £20 just because' might do it?
-
No, I am having words with her about getting less frustrated. She will do tho. She's always had trouble with pronouncing & spelling things!
-
Trying to pronounce & spell words that don't even follow the rules she knows is just too much. I can help the pronunciation tho.
-
Her pronunciation got better when I made flash cards. Jay swuff Jay fam Her spelling got worse. It's hopeless.

She only met her target in maths? Disappointing.
-
She met it in all the green ones. Only exceeded it in science & drama.
-
Wait ... I was referring to maths only. She "only" met her target in maths. Clearer?
-
Oh yes, she did, but she met the target for the extension set.
-
They should really stop all those frivolous subjects. Maths, French and Computer Science only, please.
-
Bad grade in Religious Studies? I blame the parents!!
-
I deny this absolutely! She's always been particularly interested in religion & goes to religious clubs at school coz she likes the stories.
