We simply don't say, 'Men are more likely to have an interest in/capacity for engineering so they should devote lives to it & never go home'

This is true, but it would explain why more women choose it. Humans have a knack for choosing things they are biologically suited to.

Some women choose to devote their lives to children & home & some men devote theirs to projects outside the home. Most need a bit of both.

I was talking about workoholics and homoholics yesterday. Some ppl genuinely are satisfied with a single focus on work or home. More are not
