It's not though. And it would necessarily prevent one from being a good father. And then we'd have no scientists.

My son's pediatrician STRONGLY encouraged me to keep non-parental roles and activities at a healthy, active level. She's a mom& GREAT Dr.

She's sensible! Whilst some people might be workaholics & others might be ...homeaholics (?) I think most people fulfilled by bit of both.

Balance. Some moms are rejuvenated by parenting - and I'm genuinely happy for them. Some need some breaks in their day and that's fine too
