It can be hard for latter to see a difference between an unworkable plan (Marxism) & a philosophical commitment to irrationalism (PoMo) 2/2

Also there is the revolutionary ethos of both & the stated opposition to capitalism which don't go down well with conservatives.
-
I don't focus very much on the influence of Marxism on PoMo coz I think it's superficial & the mentality is dominated by the constructivism.
-
But can you ignore the fact that in both academics and politics they go hand in hand? I'm well read in pomo and it is essentially Marxism
-
It has just evolved and has a classy, intellectual face. The basic use is hard to separate from the technical differences.
-
No, it's not. I've tweeted much on this in last hour. Please see timeline.

K reread it. My question is then, how many leftist non academics do you think can make the econ vs irrational social structure outlined?
-
Can 'make' it?

I think there's a bit of a generational thing. Classic 60s era Marxists hate ID. But ppl who were raised POMO can easily adopt Marxism.
-
I don't think they can. They'd need to see working class people as a class and it would include white men.
-
Nah. White working class men were always agents of the bourgeoisie.

I hear conservatives of all stripes confuse the two, even respected intellectuals. I loathe being grouped with identitarians.
