Would I be considered transphobic for being attracted to masculine men & women but not feminine ones if in practice this means I'd date...

...cis men & cis women & trans men but very rarely trans women coz their gender presentation is nearly always (in my experience) feminine

No, I guess that's basically where I am. Androgynous/femme features attract me (regardless of genitalia), masc features don't.

All I think is being said is that if the only thing stopping you is what's between someone's legs, it's worth asking why that is.

I know it is. What Im asking is why 'I'm not turned on by penises/vaginas' isn't sufficient when a relationship will involve genital contact

When you ask this question, that does seem to be an answer you don't accept & I wonder if its simply that you're attracted to both?

Because you see that you yourself simply are not attracted to masculinity but do not seem to think this indicates misandry.

Presumably, you'd be as charitable to men who are attracted to masculine men & women & not consider this to be underlaid by misogyny?

True. But I take this, essentially, as a sign of sexual orientation. What secondary sex characteristics one finds arousing.

So do I? But I'm unclear why you think this isn't so essential with primary sexual characteristics? Its v likely to be particularly w/ men.

We know men's sexuality is often more visual & they are much greater consumers of porn which involves close ups of genitalia.
