Yes indeed but one has to phrase it properly. Only use shorthand ("men are taller than women") when actual meaning is *very* obvious.

It's your responsibility to ensure that people don't read this as "all men are taller than all women" (which is an accurate interpretation)

Disagree. Especially on twitter, it is the responsibility of the reader to make a reasonable (and ideally charitable) interpretation.
