Yes. I haven't changed my mind about it. It is still the reason I think basing morality on religious belief doesn't work.

Because the standard ppl often call on to demonstrate that some religious ideas are good are humanist ones.

eg, 'How can you say religion is bad when Jesus said to give to the poor?' That's shown to be good by appealing to human wellbeing not God.

Imo they are already based mostly on human empathy and the basics of living in a community, the 'god' is just the justification, the why.
