Doesn't this result in minorities within minorities being vilified - see liberal, LGBT & ex-Muslims - & hinder communication between groups?

I see a need for focus on distinct experiences of groups but not at the cost of its members relating to wider society or being individuals.

eg Germany. No same sex marriage. A lesbian wld need to speak as a member of a group & organise with a group to address this.

She's disadvantaged on a group level. She should still be able to be an individual as well & be fully engaged with wider society.
