This seems to be a projection & not a very reasonable one. Measuring progress tells us how far we have to go too.
That being in any way positive about the direction of anti-racism activism is to deny the incredibly negative impact of racial oppression?

Perhaps that people have no right celebrating anything or feeling encouraged or that progress is being made? It would be a betrayal?

It's insulting (to me) to pat yourself on the back for it being a '6/10', when it should be a '1/10', save for a lack of effort.

Everything must be negative all the time. No-one must ever feel good about how far they've come & inspired to continue in that way.

What are you talking about? You're confusing individual achievement with societal/generational change.

By 'they', I meant their group. I am mostly thinking about UK feminism coz that it where I was. How far women have come.
