Oh for goodness sake. I had to turn that off. VAW is caused by gender inequality & women always being told they're pretty, not clever?

Perhaps take a deeper look Helen. I've shared the framework for prevention of violence against women.

It won''t help the women in danger of violence if we go with feminist ideology over a better evidenced & balanced approach.

No, its not. The research gives the stats. Then the cause is supplied by ideology based on only the stats that don't contradict it.

I have. Men have a greater propensity to violence generally & when abusive that's how it comes out.

Men are most likely to be violent to men they don't know whilst women are most likely to be violent to family members.

Helen, I've spent some time chatting but I absolutely believe this is preventable and inexcusable and that we ALL have a part to play.

I think more can be done too but not by assuming the problem is sexism when men remain much more at risk of male violence.
