Men as a group hold structural power whereby sexism has profound impact on women's safety, lives, freedom/opportunities, men don't face thishttps://twitter.com/martymarty1973/status/875948748769120257 …

Kon, sexism can be against women and men. Its not exclusively against women is it? Do men not count?

What is this power we have? You haven't explained anything but a mythical patriarchy?

Men as a group have power that privileges them e.g epidemic levels of VAW, more pay, less child rearing responsibilities. These are facts

Alot of women choose and enjoy the challenging job of child rearing. This shouldn't be looked at as failure or disadvantage

They have the same responsibilities as women anyway. Let couples sort it out.

We could easily reframe that 'men get less child rearing opportunities & more earning responsibilities' and claim men disadvantaged.

Such a reasoned perspective. We could claim we live in a matriarchy since women have the privilege of rearing children
