I've been banned from visiting my dad on Father's Day by him & my mum coz they feel a temp in the high 20s is dangerous for travelling.

The dogs being pretty dramatic abt the heat too but as they have fur coats on & don't sweat, I'll assume its not a cultural thing for them

We don't tend to have them here. It doesn't get hot enough for long enough to make the expense worthwhile.

In big businesses, yes, but in smaller ones & homes, no. Very rarely needed.
