I am too. So there are two issues: (1) what to do with living dependent animals and (2) the die free/die well/never live trilemma.
But we've talked this out & agree there is no ideal solution & u'd prioritise a no exploitation principle & me a less suffering consequence

Because today most animals raised for food don't live quality lives. Requiring that they do is as realistic as liberation or ending breeding
