That is incompatible with the goals of the LibDems. Not letting this interfere with his policies is an good example to set but...

Again, Tony Blair is devoutly Christian. The difference is that he *succeeded* in never letting his beliefs (whatever they are) interfere.

I mean that saying the right things with regards to prejudice is important when you are a leader. "Gay sex is sinful" is not the right thing

Well, that's a shame. I cld see that affecting me. I cld defend religious freedom til cows come home but not that Islam is good.
