Why? Why can't ppl believe their own thing but support liberal policies? Why do we all have to have the same beliefs too?

We disagree on what "support" implies. Me: Saying that gay sex is a sin is being *unsupportive* of gays. That is why it's a problem.

Yes. I'm not saying he's a bad guy and perhaps it was unfortunate (although entirely predictable) that he be put in that situation.

His policies should be. His views on sexual morality are irrelevant if he acknowledges they have no place in politics
