If you measured the amount of housework I did compared to my husband normally, you'd see I do 90% of it. What can be drawn from this?

She's made her decision & knows her own mind so we settle for telling her she's a more self-sacrificing person than any of us would be.
-
that's really sweet of her. I hope he appreciates how lucky he is to have someone so supportive and loving.
-
He could be more appreciative, tbh. I can tell him so coz he was my friend first.
-
it's good to have friends who can be like that. Seems the only bubble you live in is one made up of functional adults.

Part of the question is also who this is important to. Most single guys I know do no more housework when alone than when with a partner.
-
Conversely, the single women do no less when on their own. Thus it seems the issue is a difference of priorities rather than workload.
-
Def see this with my wife.... If she's not there, stuff gets done, but far, far after she would have gotten infuriated and done it herself.
-
Of course, there is an argument that I could recognise this and make wife happy by doing it before she'd like, rather than when I do....
-
I am bad at that.
