Its amazing what ppl read into simple, logical claims. I said freedom of speech not compatible with banning Islam - accused of Islamophilia.

Today, I say eating healthily is as quick and easy as eating unhealthily and accused of being judgemental of those who eat unhealthily.

Clearly, people who respond defensively like this feel they need an excuse for an unhealthy diet. I don't. We make these decisions.

My dad has always said he will drink & smoke & eat whatever he wants coz he'd rather have a shorter life with more pleasure. Fair enough.

I do recognise concerns that the NHS is overtaxed with obesity & smoking related illnesses which could have been avoided tho.

And I do get annoyed by ideologically-motivated claims that obesity is healthy which can undermine people's ability to make informed choices

Banning, no. Critiquing the living f*ck out of; hell yes! I don't get the feminist progressive defense of Islam. Of Muslins, yes, Islam, no.

Islam is not a freedom of speech issue, its an issue of an ideology that claims to have the right to kill if its offended by contrary fact

The person had said 'Freedom of speech is an essential right! Ban Islam" That doesn't work logically.

"How on earth do they think we can 'ban' Islam? " Simple answer: Because they are stupid.

Not just stupidity. It's easy for some people to abandon liberal principles when they never adhered to them in the first place.
