They might want to put their families first and not abandon them, for example. I'd argue this is a moral good.

This is the problem. Even within Christianity, there is so much subjectivity. How literally do you take 'hate your family.'

Couldn't you be happy in a society which respected your right to live as a Christian and other people's right not to.
