We've been here, Heather. I'm arguing for humanism which opposes this. Basic human needs are food, shelter, medicine, safety.
Unless you think that version of that god is real, no reason to limit yourself to one set of teachings. Can reflect on & evaluate many.

They don't deal with the magical stuff. You don't need any one set of teachings. You can read humanist philosophy if you want.

Or you can just value humanity and seek to maximise its thriving and wellbeing. We do actually know humans exist which can't be said for God
