No, this is pan-cultural. All humans seek not to be hurt or oppressed and to have food, shelter, be healthy & have choices in life.
I'd also argue for wider needs. Education, for example. Satisfying work. Freedom of speech & belief.

We nearly all ground our principles in a system of thought. For some people its a religious system. For others, secular ethics.

Christ's teachings has some good bits but nothing original and not found elsewhere. Themes of brotherly love, charity etc are common.

Unless you think that version of that god is real, no reason to limit yourself to one set of teachings. Can reflect on & evaluate many.
