Yeah. Seems to be related to concepts of a soul which is uniquely human - often in a thoroughly secular sense & not expressed in those terms

I mean the quality of our music is likely contingent on our unique brain states so any music will by def. conform to our subjectivity.

Yes, I don't think this will comfort them, tho. Mapping out what pleases us seems exciting to me but would seem to diminish it to them.

Yeah, at least at first, but once AI-made music exists and is amazing, I think many will shift to appreciating this point.

I think it'll resemble what you can see in the world-class chess world now where computers have been incorporated into it. A hybrid of sorts

There used to be a lot of hatred of computer chess at the world-class level but you simply cannot compete w/o incorporating it now.

I think this will meet different resistances tho. People much more willing to accept that chess is computational than that art is.
