I'm losing patience with what is often called 'mansplaining.' I don't call it that coz a) sexist & b) men don't do it more to me.

Because historically men used to be more educated and education to women came after so they used to explain to women things they didn't know

Simplistic. A more nuanced view of history gives a different picture.

There is some belief within patriarchal men than they understand things better than women

And with some women that men don't get things & that's much more socially acceptable to claim.

I agree that we should combat both "explaining" that is from men or women but focus more on men.. same case with domestic violence
