I'm generalising abt atheists being a certain type if I say we're vulnerable if violence against speech that hurts feelings is normalised?https://twitter.com/pogsurf/status/873678376699146240 …

Yes you did. You said: "they're particularly vulnerable if we normalise violence against ideas found offensive". That's a generality.

You are selectively quoting yourself now. You omitted the word "particularly". That made it into a generalisation.

Yes,particularly vulnerable on account of being atheists.Disbelief in God is something that hurts feeling. How does that imply we're a type?

You're being ridiculous & deliberately missing the point & picking at things pointlessly and this seems to be a habit with you. Time waster.

I'm sorry but I need to mute and block people who do this now coz I get a lot of tweets & it prevents me seeing ppl engaging in good faith.

I don't think that we are specially vulnerable... It's just not recognized when rel ppl hurt OUR feelings - happens continuosly. #sinners

I think we are. Its illegal to express disbelief or criticise religion in many places. In UK, it can even be considered a hate crime.

Yeah, point taken. Just meant that we don't cause more offence then vice versa. Concerning the factual threat level I agree.

We're more vulnerable coz of societies in which the majority of ppl are religious and/or there is a culture which privileges religious ideas
