Though I think we think of liberal more as the ppl representing the label, than label representing the ppl. If that makes sense.
But that doesn't make any sense unless, as I said, they mean 'my right to impose my values on others is being prevented.'

It is. I know this sounds ludicrous to us. But not all believe in liberty for all. Not truly. We make rules as a society. What is & what
-
I know they don't. But they cannot say that liberty is forced on them when their right to deny themselves any rights or freedoms remains.
-
It's not about just themselves. Not all are as focused on the individual as us. Conservatives focus more on the community.
-
Which is why I started by saying when they say values are imposed on them, they're usually talking abt other ppl's rights not their own
-
I know. I just contemplated on the claim if liberals can truly say we don't push our values on any one. That's all.
-
If you define ' values being pushed on' as ' values existing commonly along with your right not to participate' yes.
-
This is what I meant they mean by 'pushed on' - having to know other people are doing things you don't like. I reject this definition.
-
But our lives do influence each other. We interact. So often it's not just knowing.
