Some Christians have said to me that they're forced to accept homosexuality by seeing indications of it on media & in real-life. Nonsense.

There are five churches in my town & billboards & notices & ppl wearing crosses. Christianity is not imposed on me by any of this.
-
Unless you are forced to have same sex relationships or go to church, nothing is being imposed on you by other people doing either.
-
I'd go further than this. As a Christian, I know that hostility by the world is a feature, not a bug. So why get bent out of shape?
-
Some people will always be hostile to LGBTs, Christians & more. I'd encourage not being & advocate prosecuting acts of aggression.
-
Agreed, and again for a Christian it goes further. All of us are called to be a reflection of Christ in all circumstances.
-
But people interpret Christ differently. Christianity is dominant here. State religion. Lots of rights no one else at all holds.
-
And as a Christian (a conservative too), I'd argue for severing the ties. Marriage of church and state is the kiss of death for the church.
