So how are we supposed to oppose religion? Emphasise freedom from other religions/cults they disagree with?

Focus on faith itself as the problem to be overcome, talk to believers with understanding of psychology, protect ppl from religion legally

The same sort of misunderstanding arises in the abortion debate. Most anti-abortion folks *actually believe* an embreyo/fetus is a person.

Yes. I've argued this too. I believe that intuitively coz in early pregnancy, I called & thought of my embryo as a baby. Had to unlearn this
