True, but many hijab-wearing women chose to wear it and prob don't appreciate being told they are oppressed if they wear it.

Just as I don't appreciate being told I am being oppressed by the patriarchy/society's beauty standards because I wear makeup.

supporting freedom of choice & supporting the ethics of that choice are different things.

eg Women must have the right to vote. If they vote Trump, we don't have to think that's great. Not about oppression but choice.
