Wearing a hijab in the US is more an act of bravery than acquiescence to oppression. Likely to be met with harassment or discrimination.

Doesn't have to be though. Plenty of Western women wear a hijab as religious expression. Full stop. Feminism includes respecting that, no?

No. Feminists don't have to respect religious gender-specific modesty codes or religion. They shld respect the right to choose them tho.

I think truth matters for its own sake & I'll argue for what the evidence suggests. Ppl don't have to agree & I'll probably still like them
