I don't know how anyone who is heavily obese can think it is healthy. I got that way very quickly when immobile & on meds & its disabling.

Now I'm fully mobile & off them, it's coming off fast & I feel better & am able to do more every week. We're only built to carry so much.

If you have a lot of weight to lose, it can be hard to get motivation to start coz it will take so long to get where you want. Just do it.
-
Imagine if you'd started 6 months ago? I promise you'll feel a bit better in a week, loads better in a month. Set lots of small goals.

I don't think 'fat shaming' is the answer but there should be a general consensus that it's a problem & friends shld be encouraged to do it.
-
Oh dear. I'm not saying weight loss is as easy for ppl whose obesity is caused by an underlying psych issue as it is for ppl without.
-
If you gained a lot of weight due to disability & or meds as I did, & then those stop, of course it's much easier to lose it again.
-
But that just means ppl with obesity related to mental health issues need more specialised support, not that it isn't a problem to be solved

Anyway, I've lost a stone (14lbs) in three weeks by eating healthily & walking a lot & I'm very happy about it.pic.twitter.com/whVJudm7tr

And if anyone wants to talk diets & exercise & weight loss to keep motivated, feel free to tweet me about it. That is all.
