IMO, manners are vital to a healthy society. Incivility, as it spreads, undermines whatever social contract makes that society function.

But incivility should not be legislated against even where that's possible. It's circumstantial, it evolves, and sometimes it's appropriate.

Are there TERFs who have a problem with the label? I'm not big on this, but I've never seen one that shied away from the term.

Oh yes! If you search 'TERF is a slur', you'll see this is something of a mantra.

Coz it's now used as a catch all term for anyone questioning any aspect of trans ideology or criticising individual trans activists actions.
