There are many valid problems to have with feminism. That they say women don't need to be stay at home mums isn't one of them.

Even if you yourself want to be a stay at home mum or hope to marry someone who wants to be one, shld be able to see its not for everyone
-
And yes, OK, I know that's a liberal, individualistic position & I know, intellectually, that many people are conservative collectivists...
-
...but I still feel conservative collectivists should form their collectives from other conservative collectivists & leave every1 else alone

Of course they do... until they have to acknowledge that some of us don't want to have children+
-
Or wouldn't want to give up our careers even if a husband was willing to be the sole breadwinner.
-
Huh? Feminists and society more generally thinks all women want children & to give up careers?
-
Not feminists. They don't. But say I don't have children and I don't want to and be met with unbelieving looks
-
I'm not saying everybody does. I'm saying a large amount of people do. Majority or not? Not sure. But sizeable
-
Maybe. Most people do want to have children. But I think most people support women's right not to even if they don't understand it.
