Yes, that would imply a negative bias but I think you can make racial assumptions that aren't negative.

That will be a distinct definition then, different to prejudice against a race seen as inferior.

That's the common dictionary definition. Also sexism. But is assuming a man likes sports sexist? So neutral, I think not.
