I don't think it should. Religious ppl must be allowed to be wrong but so must everybody else.

This comes back to the right to refuse service to gays though, or at least it could

Not really, tho I am torn on that. The right to believe things & say them is different to the right to discriminate against people.

Well what if you're speaking with a religious person that doesn't accept trans as existing and refuses to use your proper pronouns?

You think they're an arsehole. You can annoy them by refusing to use their proper pronouns. Also if a feminist does it.

Ah okay, we're on the same page then. People can be assholes, but you don't have to put up with their bullshit.

No, you don't have to pretend its ok but neither can you insist they see gender or whatever as you do.

But what about when it comes to businesses? Then what? I don't think you should be able to refuse service to anyone...

I've always said the same thing - don't have to offer special products but do need to offer your normal products to everyone.

But I am torn on this. I'm freedom-loving. So I'm tempted by the option to say ppl can discriminate but have to say they do on the door.

So no-one has to experience being refused service and so that other shoppers can boycott them if they wish,

What about employers? There's rumors trump's administration is trying to make it legal to discriminate against LGBTQ people

Privileging religious ideas over other kinds of ideas in law is not acceptable. It must extend to all. But I'm still not sold on it.

I'm sure sometimes it is. Other times ppl really are committed to a belief system. Then they go on abt loving LGBTQ ppl.

I'm very much against this proposed bill. It could make it nearly impossible for me to get a job, being trans and all.
